How much space do I need?
Gateway Storage offers a variety of outdoor drive-up unit sizes. If you're unsure which size is right, our experienced team is happy to help. Based on a few quick questions, we can recommend a unit that fits your items and your budget. Contact our office for assistance.

What items are prohibited from being stored?
For the safety of our customers and facility, the following items are not permitted: explosives, flammable liquids, hazardous or toxic materials, and perishable items. If you have questions about specific item, please contact our office.

When can I move in?
You can move in as soon as today. Our online portal allows you to select a move-in date that works best for you, including the option to post-date your move-in for added convenience.

What is required to rent a storage unit?
After selecting your unit size and price, we will need your personal contact information. Customers must sign our rental agreement and pay the initial month's rent, which includes the first month's rent plus one-tim $14 administrative fee.

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No. All rentals are month-to-month. When you're ready to move out, we require advance notice (see move-out procedures below)

How do i make a payment?
To keep payments simple and avoid late fees, automatic payment by credit or debit card is required.
Why should I sign up for Autopay?
AutoPay ensures your rent is paid on time each month and helps you avoid late fees or additional processing charges.

When is my rent due?
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. If you are enrolled in AutoPay, payment will be processed automatically on that date.

When can I access my unit?
Tenants with outdoor drive-up units have access 7 days a week from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM.

How do I access the facility?
Access to the property is controlled by a security gate. You will receive a personalized gate code at the time of signing your rental agreement.

Is Insurance required?
Yes. Insruance is required for all stored items, starting at $12 per month. If you have homeowners or renters insurance that covers storage, you have 7 days to provide proof of coverage.

Do I need to bring anything when I move in?
Yes. You must bring your own lock or purchase one from us for a one-time fee of %15. Please call 937-373-4215 for instructions if needed.

Can I transfer to a different size unit?
Yes. Transfers to a larger or smaller unit must be completed on the same day to avoid paying for two units at once. A new rental agreement will be required, and a $25 transfer fee applies.
My promotional or discounted rate has ended. What are my options?
Please contact our manager. We will work with you to review available options based on your current needs and budget.

What are the move-out procedures?
There is a two-step process to successfully move-out of your unit:
  1. Provide at least 10 days' written notice of your intent to move out. Written notice may be provided by text message or email.
  2. Once the unit is completely empty and swept, please call or text us so we can complete the move-out and close the account.
